Celebrating 40 Years of the Winter Dance School in Maribor

This year’s Winter Dance School was truly special. Not only did it mark a significant milestone—the 40th edition—but it was also a celebration of the incredible dedication of everyone involved, especially the one and only Minka Veselič Kološa, the driving force behind it all.

I was hired to document the premiere performance of another masterpiece from KUD Baobab production called "Temporalnost drugih". It was another great dance performance which I really enjoyed!

The day after audio & video recording session with Harmelogic and Zhivko Vasilev, videographer Tomaž Praunseis and I went to town of Lendava to join the band and sound master Andrej Hrvatin and do some work for this amazing musicians.

Recently I had a great privilege to work for consecutive four days with Slovenian duo Harmelogic and their special guest Zhivko Vasilev, who were recording some new audio and video promotional material for their upcoming tour next year.

All good things must come to an end, and after four incredible days of performances, this year's edition of Festival Platforma has officially closed its curtain.

Although few events have already taken place, the official opening of the 18^th edition of Festival Platforma was reserved for the Italian performance titled "Graces" ("Gracije"), choreographed by Silvia Gribaudi.

Maribor was once again alive with contemporary dance performances, as Festival Platforma took over various venues around the city for the 18^th year in a row!

My fourth Pandorina skrinjica, annual dance performance of the pole dance school "Pandora - Art of Pole", was amazing weekend in a great crowd, as always! :)

For the last two days it has been my privilege to document amazing contemporary dancers from all around the world, who gave their performances at Festival RAIL2DANCE4UKREP (included this year in the programme of the Festival Lent).

It was really powerful and intimate at the same time, enjoyed this one, for many different reasons, really much!

This was already ninth Winter dance school in a row for me, next year will be 10th! Already looking forward! :)

My second year as the official photographer for this great summer jazz festival which brought some delicious moments and discoveries!

Three months after the sold out concert in Arena Zagreb where the band and the guests paid their respect to the late Aki Rahimovski, the singer of this legendary band, Parni Valjak and friends played another sold out concert, last of this kind, in celebration of his work and life.
